A private service was held for Jose Mario Perez, 70, area resident. Jose Mario Perez was born April 8, 1949 to Juan Perez and Agapita (Garcia) Perez in Clinton, Oklahoma and passed away Thursday, November 14, 2019 in the Cordell Regional Hospital Emergency Room in Cordell, Oklahoma. Jose was raised and attended school in Paducah, TX. He moved to Clinton in 1962 and also made his home in Arapaho and Dill City, OK. He was drafted into the U.S. Army in 1968 and served in Viet Nam. He returned home honorably with honors; while in the military he was afflicted with Agent Orange and became 100% disabled. He was employed in the oilfields as long as health permits. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is a member of the Catholic Church and he enjoyed restoring and working on vehicles. He is survived by his daughter, Stella Waldrop and husband, Ronnie, Sayre and son, Joshua Mario Perez, Midland, TX ; two sisters, CeCe DelaRosa and husband, Martin, Ardmore and Esther Mendez and husband, Victor, Clinton and a brother Juan Jose Perez, Clinton. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Noley Snyder, Sayre and Taylin Snyder, Madison, IN
