A Mass of Christian Burial for Jose Raul Barrientos will be held 10:00 A.M., Monday, December 21, 2020 in the St. Mary’s Catholic Church, officiated by Father Balaswamy Mandagiri. Burial will conclude in the Clinton Cemetery under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. A Rosary will be held 6:00 P.M., Sunday, December 20, 2020 in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel. Jose Raul Barrientos was born September 6, 1942 to Federico Barrientos and Maria Guadalupe Barrientos in San Felipe GTO, Mexico and passed away Thursday, December 17, 2020 in the Corn Heritage Village in Weatherford, OK. Raul was raised and attended school in San Felipe, GTO, Mexico. He left home when he was 12 years of age he moved to Mexico City, Mexico and started his working career. He worked in restaurants washing dishes and busing tables and other odd jobs. He was able to return back to his home town, then moved on to Mexico City and owned and operated his own restaurant and purchased a nice home. He came to the U.S. in 1980 and first worked in San Francisco, CA and then on to Chicago, IL where he delivered Pizza and in 1984 he moved to Clinton, OK. He first did farm labor and was able to obtain employment at the OK Turkey Plant and later onto Bar-S- Foods where he retired after 27 years. He married Marisela Watanabe and they had three daughters and she passed away in January of 1994. He was left with three small children from ages six months to three years and he has dedicated his life to raising them by himself. He was a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church and served as a member of the Guadalupanos group. He was also preceded in death by his parents, grandson, Raul Izael Lopez, brother, Federico Barrientos and sister, Leonor Barrientos. He is survived by three daughters, Marybell Amador, Maritsa Barrientos and Jazmine Guadalupe-Lopez and husband, “Monkey”, all of Clinton; three sisters, Zita Barrientos Rangel, Guadalupe Barrientos Rangel, Beatriz Barrientos Rangel; three brothers, Juan Manuel Barrientos Rangel, Enrique Barrientos Rangel and Eduardo Barrientos Rangel. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, Cristian Barrientos, Fabian Barrientos, Victoria Amador, Norato Santoyo, Marisela Santoyo, Estela Santoyo, Nayeli Santoyo, Rafael Eliseo Ramirez, Jose Leonard Barrientos.
