Funeral Services for Joseph Dyer, 48, Weatherford resident will be held 1:00 P.M., Friday, September 22, 2017 in the Clinton Indian Community Building, officiated by Rev. Delford "Bunny" Whitecrow and Robert Koehn. Burial will conclude in the Clinton Cemetery under the direction of Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. A traditional wake service will be held starting at 7:00 P.M., Thursday, September 21, 2017, in the Clinton Indian Community Building. Joseph Anthony Dyer was born on July 16, 1969 to Benejah Dyer, Jr. and Wilma Redbird in Clinton, Oklahoma and passed away on Saturday, September 16, 2017 in Farmington, New Mexico. Joseph was raised in Clinton, going to Clinton Schools. He worked as a Roofer for several years. Joseph moved to Weatherford, Oklahoma in 2000. He enjoyed shooting guns, fishing, and anything to do with the outdoors. He was an avid OU fan. Joseph was preceded in death by her father, Benejah Jr., one brother Gaylon Old Crow, maternal grandparents, Bill and Irene(Yellow Hawk) Redbird, and his paternal grandparents Benejah, Sr. and Mable Dyer. He is survived by one daughter Shayla Dyer, Weatherford; two sons, Sage Dyer and Joseph Dyer, Jr, both of Weatherford; his mothers, Wilma Redbird, Weatherford; Helen Botone, Moore, OK, Irene Deer and Betty RomanNose, Kingfisher, OK, and Mary Lou Stoneroad, Stillwater, OK; and one brother John Old Crow, McCloud, OK. Joseph is also survived by three grandchildren, and numerous relatives and friends.
