Graveside Services for Joy Driscoll, 93, Clinton resident will be held 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, August 5, 2020 in the Clinton Cemetery Pavilion officiated by Hospice Chaplain Dennis King and under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Joy Ann Driscoll was born May 4, 1927 to Nathan Levi Dobbs and Katie (Leasure) Dobbs in Cloud Chief, OK and passed away Monday, July 27, 2020 in the Corn Heritage Village Nursing Home in Corn, OK. Joy was raised in Cordell and Clinton graduating from Clinton High School in 1946. She married Calvin Driscoll November 4, 1950 in Clinton, OK. She was employed at the Oklahoma Bank and Trust for a short time in the early 50’s. She became a “stay at home mom” for several years and then she worked for the Clinton Public Schools in the Cafeteria until retirement in 1990. She was a faithful and active member of the First Baptist Church; she was an accomplished seamstress; she loved animals and rescued many; she was an outdoorsman and most of all was a wonderful grandmother and great-grandmother. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband; son, David Driscoll, four sisters, Alice Bingenheimer, Leona “Dude” Drake, Jeanette Lovelace, five brothers, Roy, Loy, Malcom, Dave, and Arther Dobbs. She is survived by daughter, Barbara Ann Brinkley, Clinton and two grandchildren, Lee Ann Miller and husband Stephen of Ohio, and Joseph Brinkley, Clinton; two great-grandchildren, Carson Miller and Brinkley Miller. She is also survived by her nephew Joe Bingenheimer and wife, Pauline, Clinton.
