Funeral Services for Joyce Allison, 88, Clinton resident will be held 2:00 P.M., Sunday, May 2, 2015 in the First United Methodist Church, officiated by Rev. Roland Youngberg and Sue Rowley. Burial will conclude in the Arapaho Cemetery under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Joyce Lee (Smith) Allison was born May 31, 1926 in Clinton, Oklahoma to Charles M. and Bernice (Wells) Smith. A 1944 graduate of Clinton High School, she attended Oklahoma College for Women and Oklahoma State University, studying home economics. She married Robert D. "Bob" Allison on March 8, 1948 in Chickasha, Oklahoma. She served as a librarian at Clinton Public Library for many years. Joyce and Bob were part of Clinton's business community as proprietors of several businesses. They also loved collecting and selling antiques. Very active in her community, Joyce was a member of the United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, Worthwhile Women's Group and P.E.O. International. Joyce was preceded in death by Bob, her parents, her sister Virginia Rowley, her sons-in-law Scotty Breeden and David Allen, and a grandson. Surviving are her three daughters, Becky Breeden, Debbie Allen and Terrie (Rick) Parker, two granddaughters, two grandsons and four great-grandchildren. The family will greet guest 5:00 P.M. till 7:00 P.M. Saturday, May 2, 2015 in the Kiesau-Memorial Chapel, Clinton, OK.
