Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Juanita Silva Diaz, 93, Clinton resident will be held 10:00 A.M., Friday, June 21, 2019, in St. Mary's Catholic Church officiated by Father Joseph Nettem. Burial will follow in the Clinton Cemetery under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. A Rosary will be held 6:00 P.M., Thursday, June 20, 2019 in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel. Juanita Diaz was born January 28, 1926 to Nicholas Silva and Cruz Maria Rivera Silva in Raymondville, TX and passed away Sunday, June 16, 2019 in the Alliance Health Mid West City, OK. Juanita was raised in South Texas and attended some schooling there, however she self educated herself. Along with her family they were Migrant workers and moved to Michigan I the 1950's. She was married to Jose Diaz and they came to Oklahoma and settled in Clinton 1977. She worked for the Norbest Turkey Plant for several years and retired. She was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church, she loved to cook, travel and watch telenovelas. She is preceded in death by her husband in 1981 and two sons, Eddie Diaz and Jesus Diaz and a daughter Josephine Vasquez and five brothers and sisters. She is survived by daughters, Yolanda Rios, Flat Rock, MI, Erma Villegas and husband, Vidal, Adrian , MI, Mary Murphy, Clinton, OK and Janie Araiza and husband, George, Monroe, MI; sons, Luiz Diaz and wife, Joy, Toledo, OH, Mario Diaz and wife, Lisa, Anadarko, OK, Tony Diaz and wife, Beth, Clinton, OK and Jose Diaz, Jr., and wife, Sara, Liberal, KS, Rufus Jaboco and Catalino Jaboco and wife, Maria, all of Clinton. She is also survived by 41 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
