Julie Anne Cox

Julie Anne (Yellowhair) Cox was born September 16, 1959 to Andrew Yellowhair and Helene (McElhaney) Yellowhair in Clinton, Oklahoma and passed away Monday, November 23, 2020 in the Clinton Alliance Health. Julie was raised in Oklahoma City and attended Northwest Classen High School. She continued her education and received her Bachelor’s of Science Degree from Oklahoma Southwestern State University in Weatherford, OK. She has been employed at the Clinton Indian Hospital and served as the benefit coordinator for the past 18 years. She is a member of the Clinton Indian Baptist Church, she enjoyed antiquing, painting and drawing, traveling and taking road trips. She is preceded in death by her step-father, Joe Fletcher. She is survived by daughter, Rachel Cox, Clinton; parents, Helene Fletcher, Clinton, Andrew Yellowhair, Lawrence, Kansas, three sisters, Cheri Fletcher, Mary Fletcher and Carolyn Fletcher, all of Clinton. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Jacob Cox, Lily Guevara and Damon Cox.
