Funeral Services for Junior Brehm, 88, longtime Clinton resident will be held 10:00A.M., Tuesday, December 10, 2013 in the Broadway Heights Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Buck Nicholson and burial will conclude in the Arapaho Cemetery under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Junior George Brehm was born August 8, 1925 to Pete and Elizabeth (Hamburger) Brehm 7 And ½ miles south of Weatherford, OK in Washita County and passed away Thursday, December 5, 2013 in the Methodist Health Care Center in Clinton, OK. He was raised in Weatherford and was the eighth of nine children. He attended his schooling in Weatherford but joined the U.S. Navy on December 7, 1943 and did not graduate with his Senior Class. He served during WWII in the Pacific Theatre on aircraft USS Salamaua and the USS Guadalcanal until his discharge in 1946. He was married to Mildred Johnston February 2, 1951 in Arapaho, Oklahoma. To this Union a daughter and a son were born. His wife of 50 years preceded him in death in 2001. Junior worked for the Acme Brick Plant for 20 years. He then accepted a job with the city of Clinton and worked for them twenty four years until his retirement retiring in 1990. In 2010 he was honored with his High School Diploma from Weatherford High School. He attended the First Church of God faithfully until his failing health. He was preceded in death by his parents, five sisters, Frieda Eyes, Lena Caulkins, Florence Rhoads, Esther Schapansky and Elsie Case and three brothers, Johnnie Brehm, Adam Brehm and Rudolph Brehm. He is survived by a daughters, Jeannie Campbell and husband, Mike, Of Clinton, OK and a son, Jackie Brehm and wife, Jamie, of Piedmont, OK. He is also survive by four grandchildren, Scott Campbell and wife, Amanda, of Clinton, Jason Brehm and wife, Shyla, of Whitesboro,TX, Megan Hall and Spouse Jason, and Jared Brehm all of Piedmont; great grandchildren Nydia, Zachery, Rebekah, and Olivia Campbell, Carson and Caden Brehm, and Cooper Hall and a host of nieces and nephews a two special cousins, Don and Delbert Amen, and a special nephew, Kenneth "Sam" Caulkins.
