Funeral Services for Junior Walters, 82, Dill city resident will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, May 10, 2014 in the Burns Flat High School Auditorium, officiated by Adam Wright and Don Greteman and burial will follow in the South Burns Cemetery in Dill City, under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. T.G. Junior Walters was born November 29, 1931 to Gotleib"Gee" and Talitha Emily (Roper) Walters in Elk City, OK and passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2014 in the Sayre Hospital in Sayre, OK. Junior Walters was raised in Dill City, Oklahoma and graduated from Dill City High School in 1950. He was drafted in the U.S. Army and served in the Korean Conflict. He was honorably discharged and returned back to Dill City, Oklahoma and worked with his father in the Water well Drilling Business and eventually took over the business. They served most of Western Oklahoma and West Texas. He was married to Carol J. Fonville on June 2, 1957 in Dill City, OK. They have made their homes in Dill City and the Burns Flat area.Mr. Walters retired in 2006. He was an avid sports fan, and was a huge fan of the Oklahoma University activities; he enjoyed cross word puzzles, Hunting and Clay Pigeon Competition. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Corey, a sister, Airlene Ringo. He is survived by his wife, of the home, two daughters, Connie Ainsworth and husband, Alan, Tyler, TX and Cathy Walters, Dill City, OK and a son, Cobey Walters, of Oklahoma City, OK and a daughter in law, Diane Walters, Canute, OK, a sister, Geena Walters, Yukon, OK . He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, Jeremy Ainsworth, JadeGoar and husband Matthew, Bradenton, FL,, Austin Ainsworth, Brooke Walters, Courtney Walters, Colin Walters, Regan Walters, Reece Walters and Reanna Walters, Cheyenne Six and Jerald Six and two great grandchildren, Renee Ainsworth and Rylan Goar.
