Funeral Services for Katherine Dyck, 85, Corn resident will be held 10:30 A.M., Saturday, April 6, 2013 in the Corn Mennonite Brethren Church, officiated by Rev. Tim Sandy and burial will follow in the Corn Cemetery under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home in Clinton, OK Katherine Marie Dyck was born August 12, 1927 to John and Sarah (Penner) Nusz in Orienta, OK and passed away early Monday, April 01, 2013 in the Integris Clinton Regional Hospital in Clinton, OK. Mrs. Dyck was raised and attended school in Orienta and Conway Springs. She worked in a Egg Kindling House and a Dry Cleaners before marrying Arthur H. Dyck on March 17, 1957 in Clearwater, KS. They soon moved to Oklahoma and settled in Corn. She worked several years for the Home for The Aged and the Corn Heritage Village as well as helping her husband on the farm. She was preceded in death by her husband in 2009, her parents, and five brothers, Aaron, Manuel, Albert, John and Henry Nusz. She was a longtime and faithful member of the Mennonite Brethren Church. She is survived by a daughter, Barbara Fitzgerald and husband, Patrick of Simi Valley, CA and two sons, Kenny Dyck and wife, Bonnie, of Corn and Howard Dyck and wife, Deborah, of Thomas; four sisters, Olivia Mulligan, of Enid, Sarah Koop and husband Paul, of Howard, KS, Ruth Blackwood, of Tulsa, OK, and Hannah James and husband, Dr. Harry, of Pond Creek, OK and two brothers, Adam Nusz and wife, Arlene, of Wellington, KS and Pete Nusz and wife, Bonnie, of Rose Hill, KS. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
