Kenneth Wayne Betts

A private service for Kenneth Betts, 59, Weatherford resident will be held in the Greenwood Cemetery with family and under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Kenneth Wayne Betts was born January 8, 1962 to Robert Warren Betts, III and Flonnie (Koop) in Weatherford, OK and passed away Sunday, August 15, 2021 in the Oklahoma University Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK. Kenneth was raised and attended school in Weatherford. He made a career working in the Old Fields as a Tool Pusher. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan; he loved eating M&Ms and playing pool. His passion was spending time with his grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his dad, Robert Betts, III, and step dad, Carol Kitchens and his maternal grandparents, Jacob and Esther Koop. He is survived by his daughter, Flonnie Shanel (Betts) Gwartney and husband, Kris; his parents, Flonnie Mae Kitchens; four brothers, Robert Betts, Chad Kitchens, Chris Kitchens and Scott Kitchens. He is also survived by grandchildren, Tyler Joseph Wayne Blackbear, Dylan Lee Epp and Kaden Harold Gwartney. Revelations 21:4 “He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.
