Ladawn Kay Woodward

Memorial Service for LaDawn Woodward, 58, Clinton resident will be held 10:00 A.M., Friday, September 2, 2022, in the Edge Church officiated by Easton Page and under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home.

LaDawn Kay (Self) Woodward was born March 28, 1964, to William Herald Self and Maryland Kay (Myers) Self in Evreux, Eure, France and passed away very unexpectedly Wednesday, August 24, 2022, in her Clinton home.

LaDawn ‘s father was in the Military and serving in France and the family moved to Enid, OK area while she was still very young. She attended Waukomis schools until her senior year in high school and the family moved to Clinton where she graduated in 1982.

She married John K. Woodward on June 14, 1986, in Las Vegas, NV. She has worked for the Safeway Stores, Catlett’s Country Corner, K-Mart Stores and had served as the Manager at the Pizza Hut.

She had been attending the Edge Church, she loved animals and was enjoyed going to concerts. Brett Michaels was one of her favorite singers and she was a big fan and supporter.

She was preceded in death by her father, and daughter, Jullian Leigh Woodward.

She is survived by HER HUSBAND, John “Woody” Woodward, of the home, daughter, Kenna Wise and husband, Josh, Weatherford, son, Johnathan “J-Wood” Woodward and wife, Dayla, Weatherford, her mother and stepfather, Maryland and Ellis Abel, Enid, Ok, three sisters, Dee Dee, Dee and Terri, both of Enid and Lisa, Tulsa and brother Bill Self, Jr., Maude, OK.

She is also survived by two grandchildren, Chase and Kyler Wise, Weatherford.
