Leah Ann Bidwell

A Chapel Service for Leah Ann Bidwell, 71, Foss resident will be held 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, February 5, 2020 in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel, officiated by family members and under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Leah Ann Bidwell was born July 24, 1970 to Constant L. Bidwell and Bessie (Foss) Bidwell in Montpelier, Vermont and passed away Sunday, January 26, 2020 in the Weatherford Regional Hospital in Weatherford, OK. Leah Ann Bidwell was raised in Johnson, Vermont where she also attended school. She married Francis Bidwell July 28, 1970 in California. She came to Oklahoma in 1969 and worked as a cook at the Big Sky, Roman Nose, Collins and Aikman, local motel, the Veteran’s Center and later retired from the Integris Hospital. She enjoyed doing hand work, crocheting, and reading; an accomplished seamstress; she enjoyed traveling and spending time with the grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, grandson, Francis Daniel Hubbard, sister Gail Ross and brother Norman Bidwell. She is survived by three daughters, Charlene Kuhn, Foss, OK, Janie Johnston and husband, Tim, Canute, OK and Sandy Thompson and husband Charlie, Foss, OK. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, Virgina Hammond, Elk City, Holly Hubbard, OKC, James Johnston, Weatherford, Brent Johnston, Canute, Marion Johnston, Canute, Crystal Bidwell, Custer City, Leanne Bidwell, Clinton, Josh Thompson, Foss, Kelly Thompson, Foss and Noah Thompson, Foss and eight great-grandchildren, Bradley, Kimberly, Bentley, Brooklyn, hunter, Beckie, Elizabeth and Aiden.
