Funeral Services for Leah Locklear-Stewart, 39, Clinton resident will be held 10:00 A.M., Thursday, April 18, 2013 in the First Christian Church officiated by Rev. Mike Holman and Rev. T.D. Gifford and burial will follow at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, April 18, 2013 in the Willow Cemetery in Willow, OK under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Leah Nicole Locklear was born October 15, 1973 to Orville and Donna (Underwood) Locklear in Mangum, OK and passed away Sunday, April 14, 2013 in her home unexpected. Leah was raised in Granite, OK and graduated from Granite High School in 1991. She had made her home in Lawton, Purcell and she settled in Clinton in 2001. She had worked at the K-Mart Store, Interbank, Classic Marble and Circuit Engineering. She was married to Damon Stewart on April 29, 2006 in Clinton. She attended Nursing School at the Burns Flat Technology and graduated with her L.P.N. Certificate in 2010. She enjoyed working with the elderly and had been employed with Grace Living Center in Clinton for the past year. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church; she enjoyed reading, photography and scrapbooking, traveling and watching movies with her sons. She was survived by her husband, Damon, of the home and two sons, Garrett Christian, of Clinton and Blaine Christian, of Norman, her parents, Orville and Donna Locklear, Clinton, brother, Dean Locklear and wife, Jennifer, Abilene, TX and four nieces and nephews, Abbie, Ashtyn, Tanner, and Dean Edwin Locklear. She is also survived by a sister in law, Deborah Cooley and husband, Eric, and their son, Sam of Houston, TX. She is also survived by numerous other family members. The family has suggested those wishing to give a memorial contribution may do so to the Mission House, Clinton’s Homeless Shelter.
