Funeral Services for Lee Rivera, 88, Foss resident, will be held 10:00 A.M., Saturday, January 30, 2021 in the Hammon Community Fellowship Church, officiated by Pastor Dolan Ivey. Burial will follow in the Foss Cemetery under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. The family is requesting visitation to be 8:00 A.M., till 8:00 P.M., Friday, January 29, 2021 in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel. Lee R. Rivera was born November 26, 1932 to Matias Palacios Rivera and Maria (Ramirez) Rivera in Cuidad Acuna, Coahuila, Mexico and passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2021 in the Integris Baptist Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Lee was raised in Cuidad Acuna, Coahuila, Mexico and he moved to the United States of America at the age of 12 to work and help the family He was a man of many trades; he did sheep shearing, welding, oilfield worker construction as well as farming. Through the union of marriage in 1962 to Maria Elena Paz Ruiz their three children were born, Georgina, Lee and Israel. They maintained a close relationship raising their children after the parting of ways. He made his home in Foss, Oklahoma. He accepted Christ as a member of his father’s church, Iglesia Apostolica de la Fe En Cristo Jesus. I later years he attended Hammon Community Fellowship Church; He loved to learn history, watch wrestling, cowboy movies, he was an avid Oklahoma University Football and Dallas Cowboys Fan. He was very interested in politics and loved to travel and visit family. He is preceded in death by his parents, Matias and Maria (Ramirez) Rivera; brothers, Pablo Rivera, Mario Rivera, Matias Rivera; sister, Belen Rivera de la Cerda; granddaughter, Ciara Dawn Rivera. He is survived by his daughter, Georgina Miramontes and Anthony Smith, two sons, Lee Paz Rivera and wife, Jacque and Israel Michael Rivera and wife, Michelle; the mother of his children, Maria E. Rivera; seven sisters, Juanita Hernandez, Luisa Rivera, Estela Fernandez, Lidia Rivera Contreras, Maria Josefina Garcia, Ester Palacios, Ana Torres and brother, Jesus Rivera. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Tonicia, Johnny and wife, Crystal. Matthew, Amber, John and wife Marin, Zakari, Jude and wife, Jazzy, Ashli and husband, Dillon, Ashleigh and Raelee, great-grandchildren, Ji’Varyon, Jayla, Jeremiah, Anthony, Kapri, Savannah, Lucian, George, Kaylee, Zachary, Taylor, Brynlea, Tyson, Talon, Brystil, Zella and Jeremiah.
