A Memorial Service for Lee Roy Boese, 84, Clinton resident will be held 1:00 P.M., Monday, December 30, 2019 in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel, officiated by Pastor Daniel Mosburg and under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Lee Roy Boese was born April 19, 1935 to Henry Boese an d Anna (Ratzlaff) Boese in Weatherford, OK and passed away Monday, December 23, 2019 in the Grace Living Center in Clinton, OK. Lee Roy was raised on a farm west of Weatherford, OK and attended Gyp Hill School. His family moved to a farm near Corn, OK where he attended Corn High School and graduated in 1953. He was baptized in 1953 and was received into membership of the Bergthal Mennonite Church near Corn where his family attended. He later moved his membership to the First Mennonite Church in Clinton. He had worked for the O.K. Turkey Plant and the Cotton Oil Mill in Clinton; he enjoyed fishing and enjoyed visiting his sister where he would usually stay for about a week and hunt pheasant and quail. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Marvin, David and Vernon. He is survived by his sister Edna Harris and husband, Roy, Pratt, KS; sister in law, Annemarie Boese, Corn, OK. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, Roger Harris, Pratt, KS, Carla Harris, Pratt, Ks, Bill Boese, Mustang, OK, Doris Kimball, Allen, TX and Robert Boese, Corn, OK.
