Funeral Services for Lena “Annie” Bearshield-Hunter, 45, Lawton, OK will be held 11:00 A.M., Thursday, December 30, 2021, in the Clinton Emergency Resource Center (Community Building) officiated by minister’s Johnnie Seven Starr Dorla Yeahquo . Burial will follow in the Clinton Indian Cemetery under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. A Traditional Wake Service will be held 6:00 till 9:00 P.M., Wednesday, December 29, 2021, in the Emergency Resource Center. Lena Rhiannon Marjorie Bearshield-Hunter “Moehae’voto'nae” (meaning Magpie Feather Woman) was born bi-centennial baby on December 6, 1976, to Johnny Bearshield and Mona (Doyebi) Bearshield in Clinton, Oklahoma and passed away Thursday, December23, 2021 in the Lawton Indian Health Service in Lawton, OK. Annie was raised in Arapaho and attended Arapaho Schools from Kindergarten thru graduation in 1995. She soon received her Gaming License and worked for the Chippawa Tribes of Michigan. She also worked for the Cheyenne/Arapaho Tribes for Oklahoma with the Head Start Program 2005 and 2006. Annie was a member of the Full Gospel Church and has been active in church work and sang in church most of her life. She has traveled to Canada, Michigan, North and South Dakota, Georgia, Louisiana, Texas, Colorado and New Mexico as well as several places in Oklahoma doing her church ministry. She loved children was affectionately known as “Honey” by her nieces and nephews who all adored her. She met the love of her life, Jackie Lee Hunter in 2004 and they married on November 17, 2010, in Lawton, OK. She always had a great sense of Humor and this past year her words of wisdom to all were “BE Kind and love to One Another.” She is preceded in death by her father, Johnny Bearshield and brother, John Bearshield, Jr. She is survived by husband, Jackie Lee Hunter, two daughters, Moriah Autumn Bearshield and Maddison Taylor Bearshield, all the Home along with Podo the four-legged furry friend Ferret and her mother, Mona Bearshield, and sister, Marie “Peanut” Bearshield both of Lawton, OK. She is also survived by numerous other family and friends. She will be loved and be greatly missed and always remember her words “Be Kind and Love one another.
