Funeral services for Leta Bell Rayner, 82, of Clinton, have been set for 10:00 A.M. Monday, February 11, 2019, at the Freewill Baptist Church in Clinton with Rev. Charlie Murphy and Rev. Sandy Shepherd officiating, and under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Clinton Cemetery. Leta Bell was born January 19, 1937 in Bessie Ok., to W.B. and Irene (Cornelson) Cantrell, and passed away Thursday, February 7, 2019 in her Clinton home. Leta Bell was raised in the Putnam area, and graduated Putnam High School in 1957. While in school she was an outstanding defensive basketball player. She married Russell W. Rayner on August 18, 1957, in Putnam. Later that year they made their home in Clinton. Leta Bell worked as a retail clerk at TG&Y, McLellan Department Store, and finally retiring at K-Mart in Clinton. She enjoyed watching OSU Cowboy sports, spending time with her kids and grandkids, loved cooking, and collecting recipies. She is preceded in death by both parents, her husband Russell, a brother James Cantrell, and a niece Karen Muno. She is survived by a daughter Marca Deimund and her husband Richard of Cimarron Kansas, 2 sons Wesley Rayner and his wife Karen of Geary, Troy Rayner and his wife Traci of Hobart, a sister Stella Fischer of Weatherford, 7 grandkids, and 4 great grandkids.
