Lillian Fern Johnson, daughter of Morris and Anna (Feuers) Johnson, was born December 1, 1937 in Copeland, Kansas. She attended grade school and high school in Ingalls, Kansas, graduating in 1955. She graduated from Sterling College in 1959 with a teaching degree. Sterling College is where she met her husband, Ken Garner, and the two were married in May 1959. She taught school in Haysville, Kansas. Her children are Doug Gardner of Littleton, Colorado, and Midnitte Flanagan of Demerest. Georgia. She became a well-loved and respected pastor's wife in every congregation she and Ken ministered to throughout the years. She accepted the Lord as her Savior in her early years and faithfully served Him until her going home. She served for sixteen years on the staff of Corn Heritage Village, Corn, Oklahoma, as well as ministering in various ways to the community at large. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Raymond and sister Judy Jost. She is survived by her husband, Ken Garner of the home; children, Doug and wife Mari of Littleton, Colorado; Midnitte Flanagan and husband Tony of Demorest, Georgia; sister, Sharon Daugherty, of Stillwater, Oklahoma, and a host of extended family members. She began her time in Heaven on the afternoon of May 21, 2019, ten days short of her 60th wedding anniversary.
