Funeral Services for Lillian Jeffrey-Lewellen, 89, Clinton resident will be held 1:00 Wednesday, October 3, 2012 in the First Assembly of God Church, officiated by Rev. Mike Holman and burial will conclude in the Clinton Cemetery under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Lillian Naomi (McMullin) Jeffrey was born February 16, 1923 to Jessie and Bessie (Bennett) McMullin in Colony, OK and passed away Saturday, September 29, 2012 in the Methodist Health Care Center in Clinton, OK. Lillian was raised in Colony and she married Mr. Allen Jeffrey on May 16, 1953 in Hammon, OK and they made their home in Hammon for a short time and then they moved to California for many years where they were foster parents to many children. They return to Oklahoma in 1973 living first in Oklahoma City and moved on to Clinton in 1979. She worked at the Clinton Middle School in the lunch room until she retired. She was married to Ernest Lewellen on July 10, 1993 in Clinton and they made their home in Clinton. She was preceded in death by both her husbands, a step-daughter, Annie Mathis and seven sisters, Pearl Catlett, Callie McMullin, Violet McMullin, Alice Crawford, Lois Meeks, Edith VanDiggelen, Nellie Brehm and three brothers, Carl McMullin, Lester McMullin, and Vernon McMullin. She was a long time and faithful member of the First Assembly of God Church; she loved to shop, enjoyed sewing and was an outstanding cook. She was inspired to sing gospel music and often sang with her sisters. She is survived by two daughters, Judy Koch and husband, Terry, Glennpool, OK, Tina Johnson, TX and a son, Danny Jeffrey, Elk City and a daughter in law, Tammy Jeffrey, Butler, OK and a step son, J.D. Jeffrey, TX. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
