Funeral Services for Linda K. Ray, 75, Custer City resident will be held 10:00 A.M., Thursday, July 25, 2019 in the Custer City First Christian Church, officiated by Doyle Kinney and Gary Baird. Burial will follow in the Butler Cemetery under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Linda Kay (Wright) Ray and her twin Lana were born March 25, 1944 in Clinton, OK to G.W. and Regina (Baker) Wright and passed away Saturday, July 20, 2019 in the Grace Living Center in Clinton, OK. Linda was raised in Butler, Oklahoma where she graduated from high school in 1962. She continued her education at Southwestern State College in Weatherford, OK receiving her bachelor's degree in education. She taught school in the Putnam Schools until its closing. She then was employed with the 3-M Company in Weatherford where she retired. She married William Ray June 4, 1966 in Butler, Oklahoma. She was a member of the Custer City First Christian Church; she enjoyed doing hand work, crocheting, sewing and working on crossword puzzles. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Bill, of the Custer City home, daughter, Deborah Allen and husband, Kelly, Sentinel, OK and son William "Billy" Owen Ray, Jr. and wife, Lisa, Clinton OK; two sisters, Connie Boelen and husband Gary, Cyril , OK and her twin sister, Lana Isaak and her husband, A.J., Arapaho, OK. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Robert Richter, Jr., Jessica Allen, Addison Ray, Ashlyn Ray, Chandon Ray, twins Chase and Cale Ray and one great grandchild, Bryleigh Gonzales. The family has suggested those wanting to give a memorial contribution may so to Oklahoma Medical Research for Alzheimer's.
