A funeral Services for Linda Romans, 62, Clinton resident will be held 10:00 A.M., Friday, April 10, 2015 in the Clinton Indian Community Building (West of Lucky Star Casino) officiated by Rev. Gerald Panana and Rev. Paul Bear Track. Burial will conclude in the Clinton Indian Cemetery under the direction of Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. An all-night wake services will start at 7:00 P.M., Thursday, April 9, 2015 in the Clinton Indian Community Building. Linda Kay Romans was born January 29,1953 to Vernon Romans and Eithel (Nibbs) Romans in Clinton, OK and passed away Monday, April 6, 2015 in the Baptist Medical Ceneter in Oklahoma City, OK. Linda was raised in Seiling, Oklahoma and Salt Lake City, Utah. She graduated from Grantsville High School in Grantsville in 1971. She was married to Emerson Ellis and she had worked for the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes in the Housing Authority and Clinton Indian Health Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Inez Hamilton Romans and Ramona Lynn Romans and a brother Clifton Romans. She loved to do bead work, bowling and shoot pool; spending time with her grandchildren and fishing. She is survived by a daughter, Laurie Ann Ellis and husband, Chabon Warden three sons, James Clifton Stoneman, Rapid City, SD, Emerson Ray Ellis, Jr., and wife Laquita Whiteman, of Clinton and Redmon Paul Ellis, and wife Emerald, of Clinton. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and niece and nephew, Robert Dean Franklin and Ramona Dawn Franklin.
