Due to the Pandemic Private Graveside Services are being held for Linda Stobbe, 101, lifetime Corn resident. Services for the family will be held in the Corn Mennonite Brethren Cemetery officiated by Ryan Kopper and under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Linda (Dick) Stobbe was born February 20, 1919 on her family farm near Corn, Oklahoma to Cornelius H. and Anna (Gossen) Dick, and she passed away Monday, October 5, 2020 in the Corn Heritage Village Nursing Home in Corn. Linda was raised in Corn where she attended Corn Schools and the Corn Bible Academy. Linda was a lifelong resident of Corn. She married the love of her life, Daniel W. Stobbe on July 17, 1938 in Corn. They made their home Northwest of Corn until moving into town in 1981. She was a loving homemaker for him until his death in 2007. Linda was a longtime and active member of the Corn Mennonite Brethren Church. She spent many hours quilting and cooking; she was very involved in her sewing circle and her passion was entertaining guests, she also worked as a cook at the Corn Bible Academy school and also worked as a aid at the Corn Heritage Village of Corn. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Wes Dick and two sisters, Margaret Flaming, and Marlene Pauls. She is survived by two daughters, Karen Wiens and husband Rod, of Idaho, Mary Kopper and husband, Gary, Anthony, KS; three sons, John Stobbe and wife, Barbara, Shawnee, OK, Ken Stobbe, and wife, Vicki, Newton, KS and Harold Stobbe and wife Aimee, Weatherford, OK; sister, Orpa (Arpa) Epp, Corn. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren and one on the way. The family has requested those wanting to give a memorial contribution may do so to the Town of Corn, P.O. Box 68, Corn, OK 73024.
