Funeral Linda Sue Prairie Chief, 71, Clinton resident will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday, May 28, 2020 in the Indian Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Gerald Panana. Burial will conclude in the Clinton Indian Cemetery under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. There will be an all night wake service beginning 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, May 27, 2020 in the Clinton Indian Baptist Church Linda Sue Prairie Chief was born September 25, 1948 to George Prairie Chief, Sr. and Goldie Tiger Washa Prairie Chief in Clinton, Oklahoma and passed away Saturday, May 23, 2020 in the Select Specialty Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK. Linda was raised in Clinton and attended Shilocco Indian School. She married Pete Bearshield in Clinton. He was in the military and they traveled extensively. They settled back in Clinton and she became a First Responder and Emergency Medical Technician and a CHR worker. She is a member of the Indian Baptist Church, she like playing hand game, doing bead work and spending time with her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Mary Louise Bearshield and brother, Mack Prairie Chief and grandson, Chazarae Bearshield. She is survived by daughter, Jennifer Bearshield and husband Jesse Herrera, Weatherford, two sons, William Bearshield, and Reginald Bearshield and wife, Kristy, all of Clinton; sisters, Georgia Ann Wellbourne, Weatherford, Ercel Brian, Weatherford, Anna Belle Prairie Chief, Clinton, Janice Boswell, and husband, Frank, Weatherford; brothers, Cedric Prairie Chief and wife, Phyllis, Clinton, George Prairie Chief, J., Clinton and Eugene Prairie Chief, Vinita OK She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren
