A memorial service for Lloyd Kness, 68, Arapaho resident will be held 10:00 A.M., Friday, June 28, 2019 in the Kiesau Memorial chapel officiated by Rev. Wendell Folsom and under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Lloyd Henry Kness was born July 25, 1950 to Edward Lee Kness and Alma Fay (Neal) Kness in Sentinel, Oklahoma and passed away Friday, June 21, 2019 in the Alliance Health Clinton. Lloyd was raised in Washita County and attended school in Sentinel, Cordell and later Clinton. He worked as a lineman for several years as well as the Custer City Coop. He later worked as a handyman fixing things and recycling metal and other metals. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Evelyn Palmer, Jeannie DeSpain, Shirley Evans and Myrtle Weber, Dorothay Bebout and his brother in law, James Weber. He attended the Tabernacle Baptist Church in Arapaho; he loved to fish, watches television and always wore a hat. He is survived by his wife, Cora, of the home, three sons, Robert Capps and wife Tina, Edmond, Billy Capps, OKC, OK and Joseph Capps and wife Jane, Grove, OK; sister Verna Waldron and husband, Gayle, Chickasha and Evelyn Holdgeldt and husband, Robert, Elk City, OK; brother David Kness and wife Janet, Minneapolis, Minnesota; three brothers in law, John Evans, Carl DeSpain and Larry Bebout, all of Arapaho. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Alchemy Sharp, Edmond and Skylar Walker, OKC, OK and over 20 nieces and nephews, over 40 great nieces and nephews and over 50 great-great nieces and nephews and a few great-great-great nieces and nephews.
