Funeral Services for Lona "Doll" Caves, 97, Burns Flat resident and former Clinton resident , will be held 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, December 19, 2018 in the Burns Flat First Baptist Church officiated by Pastor Carl Thionnet. Burial will concluded in the North Burns Cemetery in Burns Flat, OK under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Lona Inez "Doll" (Williams) Caves was born August 27, 1921 to George Williams and Lona (Kelley) Williams in Dustin, Oklahoma and passed away Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at her sons home in Seminole, FL home. Mrs. Caves was raised in Clinton and graduated from Clinton High School in 1937. She married Earl Caves on March 29, 1942 in Clinton. They made their home in Burns Flat where she was a banker and worked in Real Estate. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, she was an artist and doing oil painting, she likes to garden, do stained glass work and enjoyed collecting rocks. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Earl, daughter, Delorise Vail; four sisters, Velma Sights, Mary Clark, Billy Scott and Ruby Bowen. She is survived by a son, George Caves, Seminole, FL; brother, Ernie Bennett, Warner, OK. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 15 grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. The family has suggested those wanting to give a memorial contribution may do so to the First Baptist Church in Burns Flat, OK.
