Funeral Services for Lorene I. Huey, 88, of Clinton will be held 2:00 P.M., Saturday, February 8, 2014 in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel, officiated by Rev. Michael O'Donell and Rev. Roland Youngberg, burial will conclude in the Parkersburg Cemetery under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Lorene I. (Thompson) Huey was born December 9, 1925 in Stafford, OK and passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2014 in the Grace Living Center in Clinton, OK. Lorene was raised and attended school in the Stafford area. She was married to Mr. Vernon Huey on January 25, 1943 in Bessie, Oklahoma. The Huey's celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary before his passing on January 17, 1997. The couple farmed for several years in the Clinton and Stafford areas. She is preceded in death by her husband, Vernon, her parents, a daughter, Sharon Huey Bowser-Mandrell and a son in law, Perry Joe Bowser and a granddaughter, Wendy (Baker) Putnam and two sisters Leona Fry and Florence Walker. She is a member of the First United Methodist Church of Clinton; her hobbies were her family and being with her grandchildren. She is survived by a daughter, Vernette Baker and husband, Mike, Arapaho, five grandchildren, Terri Hughes and husband Stephen, Arapaho, OK, Perry Linn Bowser, of Ft. Cobb, OK Laura Haggard and husband, Scott, of Clinton Jay Baker and wife, Misty, of Clinton and Autumn Baker, of Arapaho. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, Amanda Flesher, Piedmont, Abby Townsend, Arapaho, Rhys Bower of TX, Kaiden Haggard,Kailar Haggardand Barrick Haggard, of Clinton, WaceyHughes, Jody Hughes and Jamae HughesArapaho, Sketchley Baker, Charley Baker and Malley Baker all of Clinton and one great-great- granddaughter, Laurie Flesher.
