Lotawanna S. Kupka was born December 26, 1932 to Phillip Own Rogers and Letha (Downing) Rogers in Thomas, OK and passed away early Wednesday morning, October 14, 2020 in Clinton Alliance Health Emergency Room. Lotawanna started her young life in Eastern Oklahoma and moved to Clinton when she was in Jr. High School. She graduated from Clinton High School in 1950. She continued her education at the Oklahoma Women’s College Chickasha, OK and majored in music. She married Robert Joe Kupka March 25, 1951 in Clinton, OK and made Clinton their home where they farmed for many years. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church; she taught Sunday school and sang in the Choir. She loved to play bridge; and spend time with her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Phil Rogers and Crawford Rogers and a brother-in-law, John Fry. She is survived by daughter, Karen Fry and husband, Robert, Clinton; son, Kirk Kupka and partner Carol Jones, Clinton; two sisters in law, Helen Fry, Derby Kansas and Ruth Ann Rogers, of Texas. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Marc Kupka, Maranda Soderlund, Carrie Shackelford and Ashlee Redinger and 13 great-grandchildren.
