Funeral Service for Mr. Louis L. Booth, local resident, 77, will be held2:00 P.M., Wednesday, October 16, 2013 in the Clinton First Baptist, officiated by Rev. Harold Goldman and burial will conclude in the Arapaho Cemetery under direction of Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Louis Landon Booth was born October 8, 1936 to John Porter Booth and Lena Allen (Roof) Booth in Thomas, Oklahoma and passed away Sunday, October 13, 2013 in the Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK. Louis was raised in Custer County and graduated from Clinton High School in 1954. He was married to Jessie Fay Killian on August 15, 1954 in the Custer Ave. Baptist Church in Clinton, Oklahoma. Louis was a well-known auctioneer and trader, known to sell or trade the finest of china, rare antique and even a broke down mule. He had also bought and sold cattle as well as being in the metal and iron business. He has made his home over Oklahoma, Nicoma Park, and Eufaula but mostly in the Arapaho, Clinton and Bessie areas. He was a member of the Bessie First Baptist Church; he loved to coon hunt, fish and tell tall tales. He spent many years in the antique and junk business and enjoyed collecting. He loved good music, especially gospel and western. His passion was his family and enjoyed spending time with his daughters and his grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Betty Jo Shepherd. He is survived by his wife, Jessie Fay, of the Bessie home, two daughters, LaDonna Fay Booth- Coy and husband David, Yantis, TX and Gayla Renee Booth-Kehoe, and husband, Kevin, Bessie, OK. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, Kolt Booth and Julie Townsend, Arapaho, Keisha Booth and Jason Huelett, Clinton, Chad Weil and Chelesa Spencer, Sayre, OK, Latasha Grable and husband, Matt, Clinton, Cody Weil and wife, Kim, Clinton, Stacey Kehoe, Clinton, Jerica Callaway and, Evelina, Clinton, Brock Coy and wife, Ranae, Mustang and Cara Coy, OKC; and 11 great-grandchildren, Lance, Lachelle, Ayra, Dylan, Garrett, Knox, Garhett, Grant, Gavin, Wyatt, Wesley, and numerous nieces and nephews.
