Funeral Services for Luke Bearshield, 58, Clinton resident will be held 11:00 A.M., Thursday, February 23, 2017 in the Clinton Indian Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Gerald Panana. Burial will conclude in the Clinton Indian Cemetery under the direction of the Kieau-Lee Funeral Home. A traditional wake service will be held 7:00 till 9:00 P.M., Wednesday February 22, 2017. Luke Bearshield was born September 22, 1958 to Willie Bearshield and Bertha (Thunder Bull) Bearshield in Clinton, Oklahoma and passed away late Saturday February 18, 2017 in the Integris Baptist Hospital in Oklahoma City. Luke was raised in Clinton and graduated from Clinton High School in 1976. Luke was stricken with Polo at a very young age and has been physically disabled most his life. However he loved sports and his favorite teams were Oklahoma University, Oklahoma City Thunder, Dallas Cowboys and of those Clinton Red Tornadoes; he loved to play dominoes, hand games and was a very good mechanic. His passion was for his many Weenie dogs that he raised and they had won the weenie dog races more than once. He is preceded in death by his parents, a sister Lula Ida Bearshield and Betty Lou Bearshiled and a brother Willima Bearshield. He is survived by two sisters, Mary Beaver and her companion, Allen Sutton, Oklahoma City, OK, Alice Mae Marquez and husband, Frank, El Reno, OK; three brothers, Pete Bearshield and wife Gayle, Leonard Bearshield, Alton Bearshield and wife, Christina Louise Steele, all of Clinton. He is also survived by numerous Nieces and Nephews and may other relatives.
