A Memorial Service for Lyndon “Mac” McDow, 61, former Arapaho resident will be held 2:00 P.M., Thursday, February 27, 2020 in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel officiated by Pastor Don Lacy and under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Lyndon Ross McDow was born June 10, 1958 to Delma Brennan McDow and Jessie Cleo (Swart) McDow in Clinton, Oklahoma and passed away late Sunday, February 23, 2020 in his Sayre home. Lyndon was raised in Arapaho and graduated from Arapaho High School in 1976. He was married to Mary Shelby November 5, 1983 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He worked for Morrison Tire Store and he worked in the oilfields. He moved to California in 1983 where he spent the next 35 years. He was employed several years with Seagate Technology which was a computer disk manufacturer and most recently he was employed with Air Duct Manufacturing Company. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister in law, Mona McDow. He was a member of the Baptist Church, he loved to race remote control cars; ride his four-wheeler, play golf and he was an avid Oklahoma University sports fan. He is survived by his wife, Mary, of the home, two sons, Jeffrey, Arapaho, OK and Jeremy McDow and wife, Tamara, Clinton; sister, Becky Wilson, Arapaho, Antoinette McCully and husband David, Phelan, CA, Jennifer Shelby, Aurora, CO; brothers, Ivan McDow and wife, Terri, Woodward, Randy McDow, Altus, OK; brother and sister in law, David Shelby and wife, Cheryl, Hesperia, CA, Jesse Shelby and wife, Tina, Crestline, CA and Michael Shelby, Aurora, CO. He is also survived by four grandsons, Jeffrey, Cain, Isaiah and Solomon and a host of other family and friends The family has suggested those wanting to give a memorial contribution may do so to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation for Cancer Research. There will be a family dinner at 12:00 Noon Thursday in the Arapaho Baptist Church.
