Marie Stelting

Funeral services for Marie Stelting, age 97, of Corn, have been set for 1:00 P.M. Friday, December 15, 2017, at the Corn Mennonite Brethren Church, with Rev. Tim Sandy and Rev.Don Stelting officiating, and under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Corn Cemetery. Marie was born January 20, 1921, to Henry H. and Helen (Boese) Kroeker in Corn, Oklahoma, and passed away late Tuesday night December 12, 2017, in Oklahoma City. Marie was raised in Corn, and graduated high school there in 1940. She married Arther Otto Stelting, on September 1, 1940, and was a loving homemaker to him until his death. Marie was a member of the Corn Mennonite Brethren Church in Corn, she loved Quilting, Cooking, playing card games, reading, and doing crossword puzzles. She was preceded in death by both her parents, her husband, 3 brothers, John Kroeker, Alvin Kroeker, and Howard Kroeker, 4 sisters, Tillie Voght, Bertha Voth, and Lydia Stelting. She is survived by, 1 daughter, Mary Goodsell and her husband Melvin Keeling, of Mustang, 1 son Jerald Lee Stelting and his wife Mary Beth, of Weatherford, 2 sisters Vivian Kliewer, of Weatherford, and Martha Allison, of Witchita KS., and 1 Brother Robert Kroeker, of Eugene Oregon. 6 grandchildren, Frieda Stewart and husband Kevin of Colony, Jerry Blakley and his wife Kim of Custer City, Jamie Bailey of Mustang, Kenny Blakley of Piedmont, David Stelting of Earlsboro, and Travis Stelting and his wife Angela of Bella Vista, Arkansas, 12 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren.
