Funeral Services for Mark D. King, 55, Clinton resident will be held 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, April 16, 2013 in the Clinton’s First Baptist Church, officiated by Pastor Vann Leonard and burial will follow in the Clinton Cemetery under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Mark David King was born March 6, 1958 to Frank and Sue (Skipworth) King in Vernon, TX and passed away Thursday April 11, 2013 in his Clinton resident. Mark was raised in Vernon, TX and he graduated from Vernon High School in 1976. He was soon married to Jana Propes in 1976 in Vernon, TX and they moved to Cordell where he sold cars for a short time. He later moved to Clinton and was employed with David Howe Chevrolet. He married Jena Rhodes in 1983 in Vernon, TX and they made their home in Clinton and he was employed with David Howe until its closing. For the past ten years he repossessed cars, process server and was a bail bondsman. He was preceded in death by his father in 1982 a brother, Tommy in 2006 and his step father, Henry Mitchell in 2001. He was an active member of the Arapaho Baptist Church and he had served on the Clinton’s Homeless Shelter Mission Board of Directors. He is survived by his sons, Chad King and his mother, Jana Propes-King, both from Vernon, TX and Parker King and his mother, Jena Rhodes-King, both of Clinton, his mother, Sue King-Mitchell, Vernon, TX and two brothers, Mike King and wife, Sharon, Vernon, TX and Jonathan King and wife, Nichole, Keller, TX. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
