Funeral Services for Mark McCarther, 23, Lampasas, TX will be held 2:00 P.M., Sunday, February 24, 2013 in the Church of Christ in Sayre, OK, officiated by Terry Tharp and burial will conclude in the Lone Oak Cemetery in Sayre under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Mark Elliot McCarther was born March 17, 1989 to Robert “Bobby” and Debra L. (Roper) McCarther in Temple, TX and passed away Monday, February 18, 2013 at the Scot and White Memorial Hospital in Temple, TX as the result of a automobile accident that occurred two weeks earlier. Mark was raised in Abilene and Lampasas, TX and he graduated from Lampasas high school in 2008. He was a Customer Service Assistant at the Lampasas Wal-Mart. He was a member of the Grace Fellowship, Church of the Hills and New Covenant. Mark was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ray McCarther and Eva “Tommie” Baker and a cousin Michael McCarther. He is survived by his parents, Robert and Debbie McCarther, a brother Eric McCarther, all of the home, a sister, Malorie Arellano and husband, Adam, and their children, Emma, Harley and Marley, Pueblo, CO, step grandmother, Betty McCarther, Clinton, OK; Aunts, Cindy Roper, Patricia Tharp and husband, Tony, Linda Pederson and husband Finn, Uncles, Gary McCarther and wife Pam, Darrell McCarther and wife, Carol and numerous cousins and other family. A funeral service will be held 7:00 P.M., Friday, February 22, 2013 at the Grace Fellowship Church in Lampasas, TX under the direction of the Sneed Funeral Chapel. A visitation will be held 12:00 Noon till 8:00 P.M., Saturday, February 23, 2013 in the Kiesau memorial Chapel in Clinton.
