Marsha Collins

Funeral services for Marsha Collins, 65, of Clinton has been set for 2:00 P.M. Thursday, January 18, 2018, at the Custer Ave. Church of Christ in Clinton, with Pat Peters, Ryan Driscoll, and Shannon Hayes officiating, and under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Marsha was born June 24, 1952 in St. Louis, Missouri to George Moore and Nellie Jones Moore, and passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2018 in Oklahoma City. Marsha was raised in East St. Louis and Pontiac Michigan, she graduated high school at Pontiac Central High in 1970, and came to Oklahoma to attend Langston University, and ended up with a degree in Mortuary Science from East Central Oklahoma University. She married David Collins on December 30, 1982 in Watonga. Marsha was well known around Clinton, for her work with Opportunities Inc., running the girl scouts for several years, being a caregiver, being active in her church and the community. She was the first black women to serve on the City Council, and she love crocheting. She was preceded in death by her father, and a grandson LeeVonte Motes. She is survived by her husband David of the home, her daughters Stephanie Collins, and her boyfriend Anthony Littleton of Georgia, Tiffany Brooks, her son Louis Craft of Clinton, her mother Nellie Manley-Johnson of Texas, her sisters Sandra Jones of TX., Rhonda Manley of TX., Zellie Manley of Mich., Sharon Mosley of Mich., Angela and Michael Shelton of Mich., Pamela and Cleave McGee of Mich., Amintha and Anthony Pawnell Turley of TX., her brothers Ronnie and Loreta Jones of Mich., Courtney Manley of Mich., Levert Addul-Aleem of California, a host of nieces nephews, numerous other family members and friends, and her very special Hayes family, and 4 grandchildren, Joplynn Collins of GA., Ja Marley Littleton of GA., Derron Jackson of the home, and Alexandria Myers of Oklahoma City.
