Services for Marvin G. May, 74, Calumet resident, will be held 2:00 P.M., Wednesday March 23, 2022, in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel, officiated by Doyle Kinney and under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Marvin Gentry May was born April 19, 1947, to William Gentry May and Ethel (Aldridge) May in Clinton, OK and passed away Friday, March 18, 2022, in the Alliance Health Clinton, Clinton, OK. Marvin was raised and attended school in Butler, OK. He was married to Ruth Ann Fergason on November 5, 1965, in Custer County, OK. He has been a cross country cattle hauler for several years as well as farming and raising cattle. He served in the U.S. Amy and he was a member of the National Cattleman’s Association. His hobbies were his cattle and going to the coffee shops with the guys. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife and a sister, Alice May-Lindamood. He is survived by two daughters, Lisa Hice and husband, Rick, Bismarck, AR and LeAnn Hoff and husband, David, Hinton, OK. He is also survived by four grandsons and eight great-grandchildren that called him “Cow PAPA”.
