Funeral Services for Marvin L. Hicks, 65, Clinton resident will be held 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, May 1, 2013 in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel, officiated by Bro Alan and a private burial will follow under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Marvin Leroy Hicks was born February 8, 1948 to Marvin D. and Jody Mae (Dixon) Hicks in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and passed away Saturday, April 27, 2013 in the Integris Clinton Regional Hospital in Clinton, OK. Marvin was raised and attended school in California and Arizona. He enlisted in the U.S. Army and served during the Viet Nam Era. He was married to Phyllis Farmer on December 7, 1970 in Fredrick, OK. He has been a truck driver most of his adult life. He was a member of the Pentecostal faith and he loved to fish, play on the computer, doing art work and drawing. He was preceded in death by his parents and twin sons, Justin and Dustin. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Hicks, of the home, two sons, Kevin Hicks, McAlister and Bryan Hicks and wife, Emile, of Clinton, three sisters, Linda Gayle Carter Killeen, TX, Veronica Behrens and husband, Billy, Elk City and Susan Hulett and husband Charles, Clinton and three brothers, Darrell Hicks and wife, Sharon, Clinton, Gary Hicks, and Betty Hicks, Snyder and Howard Hicks an wife, Rhonda,. Snyder. He is also survived by five grandchildren, Blake Wohl, Morgandee Scott, Dason Hicks Alyxis Hicks and Adryanna Hicks.
