Chapel Services for Mary Aline Stevens, 88, Clinton resident will be held 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, August 1, 2017 in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel, officiated by Chaplain Dennis King. Burial will conclude in the Sentinel Cemetery in Sentinel, OK under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Mary Aline Stevens was born September 10, 1928 to James Howard Stevens and Ella Mae (Cluck) Stevens in Sentinel, Oklahoma and passed away Friday, July 27, 2017 in the Corn Heritage Village in Corn, Oklahoma. Miss Stevens was raised in Sentinel, Oklahoma and graduated from Sentinel High School in 1945. She continued her education at the University of Oklahoma receiving her Bachelors Degree. She ventured up to New York where she began her bookkeeping and secretarial career, however before long she returned to Western Oklahoma and settled in Clinton. She never married and worked as a bookkeeper until her retirement. She has been a resident of the Corn Heritage Village for several years. She was a member of the Methodist Church where she sang in the choir; she enjoyed doing hand work, creative writing, sewing and loved to paint. She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Verlon Stevens, and Don Stevens and a sister, Lavita Stevens Ward. She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Rick Stevens and his wife, Marcia, Sunray, TX; Ed Stevens and wife, Beth, Bradford, Pennsylvania, Verna Stevens-Ehlert and husband, Dave, Draper, Utah, Linda Ward-Hoover, Oklahoma City, Donna Ward-Patterson, Chandler, AZ and Bobby Ward and wife, Carl Ann, Tipton, OK and several great-nieces and nephews.
