Service for Mary Lee Hogan, 86, former Clinton resident, will be at 1 P.M. Saturday, May 9, 2015 at the First Baptist Church, Clinton, Ok. Officiating will be Rev. Billy Mucker. Burial will follow at Clinton Cemetery. Mary Lee Hogan was born on Feb 25 1929 to Rosie Lee Carr-Grant and James H. Hogan in Clinton and on April 29th 2015 went home to be with the lord. At an early age she accepted the lord, also she recommitted her life to the lord at New Covenant Worship Center. And Mary was raised in Clinton and attended the Clinton Excelsior school system. She also attended Everglade Vocational High School in Belle Glade, Florida. She received her nursing certification at Clinton Hospital. Mary was in the nursing industry and was a caregiver for the young and old all of her life. In 1945, she married John Albert Rainge Sr. and to this union 6 children were born. She later married Walter Lee Hill Sr. and one child was born to this union. Before leaving Clinton she worked at the TB Sanitarium and Clinton Regional Hospital. She moved to Oklahoma City in 1964 during her years in Oklahoma City she married Mast Doolittle and worked as a Nursing assistant and owned a Child Care Facility. In Oklahoma City, she was employed by St. Anthony's, Doctor General Hospital, Capital Beverage and Berry's Barbeque, While working at the Oklahoma VA Center she was the caregiver for her father James Hogan until his death. And finally at Sunbeam Senior Companion program for 10 years until her passing. Mary's Legacy includes: Her children, Jacci (Johnie) Bowers, Patricia Hosley, of Oklahoma City, Ok , Sherman Rainge, of Washington, DC, Mary Rainge, Quilla Rainge-French, of Oklahoma City, Ok, Algerita (Gary) Chatman, of Newport News, Va, Walter Hill Jr., Anthony (Debbie) Rainge, Atlanta, Ga., Dorothy Rainge Satchell, Clora"Treca"(Diamond III) Farmer, and John Albert Rainge Jr, all of Oklahoma City, Ok. Her grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, adopted children, foster children and many more that God Blessed her to invite into her home to share in their raising. Also, she leaves her special companion and friend George Briggs. She leaves 34 Grandchildren, 70 Great- Grandchildren and 27 Great- Great Grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins that she loved as her own especially since she was the Matriarch of the family and the last surviving sibling of her parents. She was preceded in death by her parents, her Grandparents Luella King and Rutherford Walker, her Aunt Esther Morgan and Uncle Herbert Carr and all of her siblings (Fanny Fishback, Thurman (Bo) Hogan, Velma Smith and Bernice Peterson) as well as one granddaughter Sheri Hosley and one great-great granddaughter London Fredrick.
