Chapel Services for Mary Louise (Niemczak) Carter, 78, Clinton resident will be held 10:00 A.M., Thursday, September 17, 2020 in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel, officiated by Doyle Kinney. Burial will follow in the Butler Cemetery under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Mary Carter was born September 7, 1942 to Alexander and Fern (Fletcher) Niemczak in Los Angeles, CA and passed away Friday, September 11, 2020 in the OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, OK. Mary was raised in El Monte, California but spent one year attending Saint Andrews Priory in Honolulu, Hawaii. She married Billy Ray Carlisle in Tulare, California in 1959. To this marriage two sons were born, Kenneth Ray and Billy Jr. She later married L.D. Smith in Cordell, Oklahoma and to this marriage two daughters were born, Deborah Doreen and Shannon D’Ann. In 1980 she married Nolan Carter. She obtained her stenography and cake decorating certifications from the Burns Flat Vo-Tech School in Burns Flat, OK. She became certified with the State of Oklahoma as Social Services and Activities Director. She worked in numerous businesses in Clinton over the years as well as owning and operating her own small business. She retired from the Oklahoma Veterans Center in Clinton as Recreational Activities Specialist, II after 15 years of service. She was involved in her church; she enjoyed crafting, sewing, cooking, cake decorating, fishing, camping, cook-outs, gardening and spending time with her family. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren and spending quality time with them. She was a longtime member of the American Legion Auxiliary and helped them raise funds for the Legion. She was a friend and neighbor to all, and her passion was helping others. She is preceded in death by her parents, an infant daughter, grandson Coty Rush Carlisle and brother Alex Neimczak, Jr., and Grandmother Mary Black. She is survived by two sons, Kenneth Carlisle and wife, Debbie, and Billy Carlisle, all of Clinton; two daughters, Deborah Lowe, Edmond and Shannon Monson, Eakly; brother Mike Kokayko and wife, Millie, Temple, City, California. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Kristopher Carlisle and wife, Lindsey, Weatherford, OK; Mickael Carlisle, OKC, OK; Kyler Carlisle, Clinton; Joshua Carlisle, El Reno, OK; Travis Carlisle, Mustang, OK; Caimen Lowe, Edmond, OK; Kacie Lowe, Edmond, OK; Devin Davis, Clinton; Sara Monson, Ada, OK; great grandson, Lennon Davis, Clinton and a very special friend since childhood Lucille Telford, Orange, CA. The family will greet guest 5:00 till 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, September 16, 2020 in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel.
