Michael Edwin Shindler

Funeral Service for Michael Shindler, 49, Clinton resident will be held 2:00 P.M., Friday, June 28, 2013 in the First Church of God, officiated by Rev. Roy Dobbs and burial will follow in the Arapaho Cemetery under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Michael Edwin Shindler was born January 15, 1964 to Edwin and Jenny (Gannon) Shindler in Thomas, OK and passed away Monday, June 24, 2013 in his Clinton home. Mr. Shindler was raised in the Arapaho area and graduated from Arapaho High School in 1982. After high school he owned and operated Mikes Fast Lube in Clinton. He was married to Vickie Jean Fienen on February 25, 1984 in Clinton. He enlisted in the U.S. Army May of 1985 and received his honorable discharge in May 1987. He returned back to Clinton and has been an auto-mechanic and a truck driver for most of his working career. He loved to fish, hunt and spend time with his grandchildren and when health permitted he loved to ride his motor cycle. He was preceded in death by his dad, Eddie, and an infant son, Leroy. He is survived by three daughters, Brittany Elizondo and her husband, J.R., KallyShindler, and Sara Shindler and her fiancée Michael Cordova, the mother of his children, Vickie Shindler, all of Clinton, his mother, Jenny Shindler, Arapaho and a sister, Cindy Perkins and husband, Glenn, Cordell, his paternal grandmother, Hazel Shindler, of TX He is also survived by seven grandchildren, Mya Elizondo, AaralynShindler,Kopelyn Cordova,Bobo Elizondo, Eric Elizondo, Mereya Elizondo, and Brady Miller.
