Funeral Services for Michael Engel, 44, Clinton-Arapaho resident will be held 10:00 A.M., Monday, April 10, 2017 in the First United Methodist Church, officiated by Rev. Rick Robart and Pastor Vann Leonard. Burial will follow in the Stafford Cemetery under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Michael Lee Engel was born July 5, 1972 and passed away April 6, 2017. He graduated from Clinton High School and was active in football, basketball, baseball, FFA and band. He attended Western Technology Center in Buns Flat where he became certified in meat processing. He began his career at Duty Packers in Hobart, Oklahoma and later with United Supermarket. He was a truck driver in the oil field and with Marcy Distributing. He then worked as a service technician for Culligan. He finally ended his career working for the Oklahoma Department of Transportation. Mike was a man who lived a full and spirited live in and apart from his career. Among his favorite pastimes were golf, fishing, multiple animal companions, and the friends that walked beside him in all things. He was lifetime member of the First United Methodist Church family. Most importantly, Mike remembered God as his creator and redeemer trough all of life's trials and joys. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Nolen and Dell Kincaid and Ed and Myrtle Engle. He is survived by his wife, Cindy, his parents Ron and Jeanne Engel; son, Colby; step son, Keaton Ketchum and wife, Keele and grandson Elias; step daughter Emily Ketchum; his sister Shalyn Carpenter and husband Terry; his niece Shelby Gladd and husband, Cameron and their children Gunner and Gracelyn; his nephew Taylor Carpenter and wife Crystal and his nephew Garrett Carpenter; his aunt JoAnn Sanders; Uncle Clark Kincaid; several cousins, and countless friends.
