A celebration of life for Michael Wayne Allen, 63, of Clinton will be held at 10:00am Wednesday, January 18, 2023 in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel, officiated by Easton Page and under the direction of Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home.
Michael Wayne Allen was born on October 24, 1959 to Albert Leroy Allen and Shirley (Cole) Allen in Elk City, OK and passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2023 at Great Plains Regional Medical Center in Elk City, OK.
Mike was raised in Cheyenne where he graduated high school in 1978. Mike was a standout baseball player and an All-State basketball player in high school. Shortly after graduation, Mike joined the oil and gas business. He married Trisha Dyer on November 5, 1983, in Cheyenne, OK.
They soon moved to Amarillo, TX where they welcomed their first son, Michael “Blake”. Mike worked for Chief Auto Parts for several years and was transferred to Little Rock, AR. There, they welcomed their second son, Jesse “Blaine”, before being transferred to Moore, OK to open and manage another Chief Auto Parts store. Mike later worked for various car dealerships as a salesman in the Oklahoma City area before returning to the oilfield. In 2009, Mike moved to Clinton, OK and began working for Ray Sawatzky in his farming operation. After a few years, Mike returned to the oil and gas business in the western OK area.
Mike’s hobbies including fishing with his boys, golfing, and spending time with his grandchildren.
Mike is preceded in death by his parents and his beloved pet, T-Bone.
He is survived by two sons, Blake and wife, Sara, of Clinton, OK and Blaine and wife, Courtney, of Cordell, OK as well as two brothers, Gary and wife, Sondra, of Hammon, OK and Keith and wife, Mary, of Cheyenne, OK.
Mike is also survived by six grandchildren, Cameron Amador, Lindsay Brien, Shylo Brien, Hudson Allen, Bryler Allen, and Everlee Allen as well as 8 nieces and nephews, Tifaney Jenkins, Kayla Bagheri, Aaron Hammer, Nicole Allen, Albert Allen, Kellie Allen, Brianna Allen, and Miranda Allen.
The family has requested that those wanting to give a memorial contribution may do so at The Clinton Mission House for the Homeless, Clinton, OK.
