Funeral Services for "Mickie" Perkins, 92, longtime Clinton resident will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, July 2, 2016 in the First Presbyterian Church, officiated by Rev. Carol Waters. Burial will conclude in the Clinton Cemetery under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Gloria LaVeda "Mickie" Perkins was born March 27, 1924 to Dave C. Maysey and Eva (Agerton) Maysey in Ringold, OK and passed away early Wednesday, June 29, 2016 in her Clinton home. "Mickie" was raised in Eram and Morris, OK and graduated from Morris High School in 1941. She was married to Bill Perkins May 16, 1942. Mr. Perkins was employed with Public Service Company and they had made their homes in Chickasha, Duncan and then moved to Clinton in 1958. They soon started the Hometown Finance and in 1965 the business expanded with the purchase of First State Bank of Canute, the oldest State Bank in Oklahoma. She was a prominent member of the First Presbyterian Church, In her spare time she enjoyed playing bridge, Skip-bo, working puzzles and reading. She is preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband, Bill, a brother, David Maysey and grandson, Joseph Patrick Millard. She is survived by a daughter, Patti Perkins Millard and husband, Joe, Tulsa; three sons, Billy Michael Perkins and wife, Myrna, of Clinton, Ronald David Perkins and wife, Karen, Randall "Doc" Perkins and wife, Marilyn, all of Tulsa. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Michael Perkins and wife, Tonya, Dallas, TX, Mona Perkins, San Luis Obispo, CA, Bret Perkins, Tulsa, Deidre Robinson and husband Aardron, Tulsa, OK, Natalie Harper and husband, Jason, Kansas City, MO, Jacob Kendall, Tulsa and Lance Wheeler and wife, Mandy, MO and 10 great-grandchildren, Gavin, Conor, Grace, Riley, Micaela, Bergein, Bryton, Houston, Holden, and Huntley.
