Milton Mason White

Memorial Services and Military Honors for “Blue” White, 76, Weatherford resident, will be held 11:00 A.M., Thursday, May 4, 2023, in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel, officiated by Rev. Mike Crow and under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. The burial will follow later in Louisiana.

Milton Mason White, known as “Blue” to family and friends, was born December 18, 1946, to Celia Mae (Milton) White and Mason White in Elizabeth, LA and passed away Saturday, April 22, 2023, in the Clinton Veterans Center in Clinton, OK.

” Blue” was raised in Oakdale, LA and graduated from high school in 1965. He joined the U.S. Army on February 8, 1974, and after his honorable discharge he began a long career with General Motors Company in Freemont, CA. After making Oklahoma his home he settled in Weatherford, OK and worked in Clinton at TC’s County Kitchen as a cook and his last place of employment was at the Lucky Star Casino.

This fisherman married his longtime companion and the catch of his life, Susie LaVerne Owens February 24, 2007, in Arapaho, OK.

Milton dedicated is life to the Lord at an early age at the Rising Star Missionary Baptist Church in Oakdale, LA.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Mason and Celia, six sisters, Shirley Allen, Mable Lee Sims, Gracie Powell, Diana White, Linda White Hill, and Deborah Jones, brothers, Charles Bradley, James Bradley, Claude Bradley, Curtis Bradley, Roy Lee White.

He is survived by his loving wife, Susie, of the home, two sons, Wayland Love and wife, Carly, and Andrew Freeman, three daughters, Lorraine Penn and, husband Kenny, Latania Ashley and, husband, Scott, and Tammy McGee.

He is also survived by nine grandchildren, Markus Love, Miayaunna Bluford, Yohawnn Bynes, Sincere Scott, Breton Fuller, Nyesha Fuller, Asian Freeman, Andre Penn and Krystal Calenberg and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
