A Chapel Service for Modean Webb, 92, Clinton resident will be held Sunday, July 12, 2015 in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel officiated by Chaplain Dan Day, burial will conclude in the Mound Valley Cemetery in Thomas, OK under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Modean Stewart Webb was born December 28, 1922 to John and Maggie (Vickery) Stewart in Dyersburg, TN and passed away Wednesday July 8, 2015 in the Methodist Health Care Center in Clinton, OK. Mrs. Webb was raised on the farm during the depression in the Southeast Corner of Missouri and was known as the "Boot Hill". She graduated from High School in 1940 and then moved to Memphis, TN to escape from the farm. She was employed in Memphis during WWII and married Leo Webb after the War in 1946. They moved to Clinton in 1957 where she worked as a bookkeeper for Little Olds and Cadillac Dealership for many years and later retired from Buck Chevrolet in 1994. She was later married to Ed DeLong. She was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, Leo Webb and Ed DeLong, an infant daughter, Sherry Lynn, a brother, Johnny Stewart, and three sisters, Vera Bagby, Dean Lehr, and Geneva Parker and a son-in-law, Jerry Dobbins. She is survived by a daughter, Linda Dobbins, of Thomas, OK, a son, Phil Webb, and his wife, Marcia, of Vacaville, CA, two grandchildren, Christal Dobbins, of Thomas, and Amber Dobbins-Nitzel, of El Reno, OK and a great granddaughter, Makyla, of El Reno, OK.
