Molle Ann Washington

A graveside service for Mollie Ann Washington, 94, will be at 2 p.m., Friday, March 7, 2014 at Clinton Cemetery, Clinton, Oklahoma, officiating will be Minister Jessie Musick. Visitation will be Wednesday and Thursday, 8 to 8 . Arrangements were made at Stanley Lee Funeral Home. Mollie was born January 31, 1920 to Phillip and Wisey (Hope) McNac in Henryetta, Oklahoma and passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2014 in her home in Clinton, Oklahoma. She was raised in Henryetta, Ok. area and had an interest in everything concerned in making a home, such as, cooking, gardening, and quilting. She also enjoyed shopping and traveling. She had an interest in fishing and could clean as well as prepare her catch for the table. She loved to entertain family and friends. She worked for many years at the Norbest Turkey plant in Clinton which is now called Bar S. She worked for Mrs. Barlett also for many years and loved her family and they loved her. Mollie is survived by four daughters: Josephine Caldwell and Bertha Washington of Clinton, Doris Washington of Elk Grove, Ca., and Rita ,wife of Crispin Romero, of Antioch, Ca., also four sons: Willie Murphy, Jr. and wife, Karen, of Henryetta, Ok. and Toy Washington and wife, Raedean, Henry Washington and wife, Gloria, and Roy Washington and wife ,Doris, all of Clinton. She had six generations of grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Washington Sr., both parents, two daughters: Peggy Ford and Rena Washington, one son, Alfred Jr., and three sisters: Katie Edmundson, Fannie Buckley, and Nancy Murphy, and four brothers: John, Sanford, Chofe (Henry) and Tully McNac.
