Funeral Services for Molly Klump, 79, Clinton resident will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 9, 2016 in the First Baptist Church, officiated by Robin Palesano, Terrill Mitchell and J.W. O'Neal. Burial will conclude in the Lone Star Cemetery in Rocky, OK under the direction of Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Molly Gaye (Green) Klump was born November 18, 1936 to George Milton Green and Dorothy Icel (Alexander) Green in Hobart, Oklahoma and passed away early Friday, February 5, 2016 in the Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK. She had suffered a Hemorrhagic Stroke 9 years ago and brought the whole community and all the churches from all walks of life together. She was a true living miracle of God! Three years ago she suffered from Kidney failure. She was our hero and our friend, a fighter from beginning to the end. Molly grew up in the Rocky, OK Community and she attended Dill City Grade School. In 1947 the family moved to Clinton where her dad opened a gas and grocery store on Route 66. She attended Clinton Schools and graduated from Clinton High School in 1956. She served as the President of FHA, a member of Gimmel Teth Club, Glee Club and was chosen the FFA Sweetheart. Soon after her high school graduation she was married to Gale William Klump on September 1, 1956, in Clinton. They have made their home in Clinton and raised three children. She was always involved in their school activities serving as President of the PTA and worked to bring special Education Classes for all children into the Clinton School System. She had been employed at the Robertson Music Store, Sears and Roebuck Company, Northup Jewelry and was the manager of the Shantel Jewelry Store in the late 1970's for about 10 years until retiring. She attended the Primitive Baptist Church in Rocky for many years until her children were teenagers. She then became a member of the Broadway Heights Baptist Church raising her children and helping in Sunday School Classes. Later in life she moved her membership to the First Baptist church where she worked in the Creepers and Toddlers Sunday School Program. She also served meals, helped with funeral dinners and designed bulletin boards in the hallways. She served as an auxiliary volunteer at the Clinton Regional Hospital for over 20 years; She enjoyed water skiing, dancing, her family thought she cooked the best fried chicken and gravy ever made and she made the most cherished scrapbooks for her children and grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Della Jo (Green) Christian and a brother in law, John Noble. She is survived by her husband, Gale, of the home, two daughters, Kimberlyn Kaye (Klump) Hubbard and husband, Bruce, Kristi Gaye (Klump) Bomgren and a son, Kurt William Klump, sister, Opal Lee Noble, brother in law, Elton Christian. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Judi Bomgren and Rowdy Bomgren and numerous nieces and nephews, DeAnn Klump Elliott, Linda (Klump) Ford, Charlotte (Christian) Stehr, Keith Noble, Kent Noble, Steve Christian, and Dave Christian and a lifelong friend Mary Sue (Stout) Northup as well as many other family and friends.
