Norma S. Munsterman-Anderson

Funeral Services for Norma S. Munsterman-Anderson, 80, of Arapaho have been set for Saturday, December 12, 2015 at the First Baptist Church of Arapaho, with Vann Leonard, and Wendell Folsom officiating, the burial will follow in the Arapaho Cemetery, and under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Norma was born to Floyd and Nina Alvey on March 24, 1935 in Apache, OK., and passed away December 4, 2015 with her family by her side, in Clinton. She graduated from Apache High School and attended Cameron University and Great Plains Vo-Tech in Lawton, OK. Norma married Joe Helvey of Lawton, OK and together had four children. After Joe was killed in Vietnam, Norma met and married Ernest Munsterman of Lewiston, ID. Together they had one son. Norma later met and married David Anderson of Arapaho. Norma enjoyed working with and being around people. She worked at numerous places from Southwestern Bell Telephone, Clinton Chamber of Commerce, City of Clinton and the Citizens National Bank all of Clinton. She worked her last 14 years of employment for the Custer County Treasurer's office where she retired. Norma loved helping in her children's school activities as they were growing up. She loved to travel spending time with family and friends, working in the yard, volunteering and sewing. She was involved and a member of the Business and Professional Women's Club, Beta Sigma Phi, Preceptor Beta, Gold Star Wives of America, Intergris Regional Clinton Hospital Auxiliary. She was known for her kindness, willingness to help someone and her quick and funny wit. She is preceded in death by husbands Joe Helvey and Ernest Munsterman, a daughter Linda Helvey-Kinghorn, son John Helvey, three sisters, two brothers and her parents. She is survived by her husband of the home, David Anderson, daughters Terri Davis and husband Lyndon of Cordell, OK and Janet Neville and husband Paul of Clinton. Son Walter Munsterman and wife Kelly of Cache, OK and one sister Anita Sawyer and husband Ira of Apache, OK. She left behind ten grandchildren and nine great- grandchildren. Viewing will be Friday, December 11th from 8am to 8pm and Saturday morning, December 12th at the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. A family luncheon will be held at 12pm Saturday at the Gospel Tabernacle Church in Arapaho. Funeral services will be held at the First Baptist Church of Arapaho at 2pm.
