Funeral Services for Ofelia Rae Galvan, 29, former Weatherford resident and presently of Houston, Texas will be held 1:00 P.M., Friday, July 5, 2019 in the Indian Baptist Church in Weatherford, OK officiated by Rev. Waylon Upchego and Rev. Tommy Neely. Burial will conclude in the Greenwood Cemetery in Weatherford, Ok under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. There will be a traditional wake service Thursday, July 4, 2019 at the Yellow Eagle home at 9649 North Highway 54, Weatherford, OK. Ofelia Rae Galvan was born August 21, 1989 to Ronald and Karen Sue (Yellow Eagle) Galvan in Austin, Texas and passed away Sunday, June 30, 2019 in the Memorial Hermann Great Heights Hospital in Houston, TX. Ofelia started her young life in Austin, Texas but later moved with her parents to Houston, Texas where she attended school. She also attended school in Weatherford and also attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University working on a Forensic Science Degree. She was presently living in Houston, TX where she was attending a Houston University continuing her education. She was a proud member of the Cheyenne/Arapaho Tribes of Oklahoma, a member of the Native American Church and participating in Ceremonial meetings. She also loved to shop. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Rufus and Sarah Yellow Eagle and maternal grandmother Ofelia Galvan. She is survived by her daughter Nina Sue Keeto, Houston, Texas, her parents Ron and Karen Galvan sister Cheyenne Galvan, a brother Ronald Galvan II, all of El Reno, OK and many nieces and nephews, cousins and other relatives.
